In my early years I was fortunate to take my lessons and inspiration from a number of great Teachers ~ Howard Waller, Albert Nicholson and Cedric West. They sparked the flame in me that has stayed with me on my Guitar Journey.

As a Guitar Teacher I have tried my best to pass on this flame to Students of all ages and backgrounds. I soon became conscious of how long it takes to make real progress on the Guitar and how much needs to be invested in proper Lessons.  The cost of Lessons then the increasing awareness and desire to own one of the big name brands means that a lot of people simply can’t afford this luxury against the more mundane (but essential) financial demands of life. 

As a gigging Guitarists I became concerned many years ago about taking my own valuable big name brand Guitars out on the road. No matter how careful I was bumps and scrapes always appeared without any obvious explanation. Then there is of course the risk of playing in less salubrious establishments where it is not advisable to move too far away from your treasured possessions.

So we approached our business with the challenge of making a range of high quality guitars affordable for all Guitarists from beginners through to Professionals. With this in mind there was only one place in the World that could deliver on our Best Value Mission ~ China. Now some of you may have a problem with this, but I suspect most of you have never been to China, and I guarantee that most of your high Value items at home were also made in China. You might also be surprised to learn that not all Guitar Companies are quite as honest as us about the Country of Origin of their Guitars and Components. We seek to provide a personal service as all Guitars are designed, specified, setup, inspected and, in the case of the UKCB Series, built by me. As a consequence, you won’t find our Guitars in shops as we prefer to sell directly to our customers in order to keep quality high and prices as competitive as we can. So if you buy one of our Guitars then you’ll be dealing directly with me.

We carefully select the best Tone Woods from around the World which are carefully matched within each of our Guitar designs. We catalogue all species and sources of our materials and offer full details to our Customers as required. 

Our premium range is the UK Custom Built Series (UKCB) of Electric Guitars and Basses which are carefully built and setup by me in the UK using the very best components from around the World. Guitars from our Standard range are built to our design and specification in our production facility in China where they are made in small batches largely by hand by highly skilled Luthiers using traditional methods. All of our guitars undergo our meticulous Quality Inspection and Setup process by me here in the UK before delivery to our Customers.
