Laila Riley – Always 1st Class!

Brilliant news this weekend from one of our former Students, Endorsed Artists and long term friend of Cassidy Guitars Laila Riley who achieved a 1st Class Honours in her BA (Hons) Music (Business) Degree at Leeds Conservatoire.

Laila is one of the most unassuming and modest people I have ever met so she will hate me for singing her praises but I’m sorry Laila – you really do deserve it. Through your ambition, determination, hard work and natural brilliance you have made your family so proud and I’m sure your Grandad Mick is smiling down on you. I’m so happy that all of the groundwork we put in in your Guitar Studies since 2012 has paved the way for your success in Leeds.

Since you achieved your double Grade 8 success in 2019, you have been the benchmark for my younger aspiring students and you’ve just gone raised the bar just a little bit higher. Something tells me you might not be finished yet!

Having said all of that I know this is only the beginning for you Laila and you are poised for a very successful career in the Music Industry. We are all watching and waiting to see you achieve great things – all the very best.
